New software can be a hard sell for software sales people like myself, however since Clients First has released ProMRO and ProFBO for Acumatica I believe the job just got easier.   How can I say that?  It’s easy since Acumatica is the fastest growing cloud ERP solution and recently ranked a leader by Nucleus Research in ease of use.  A couple of years ago no one had heard of Acumatica and we began ramping up our technical skills and adding new Acumatica customers.  Based on the development tools and the easy yet fully functional Financials, Distribution, Manufacturing, Projects and CRM (sales and marketing), our management team knew this would be the perfect base for us to develop a module for the Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) and/or Fixed Base Operator (FBO).   Our team has been very successful in this endeavor and we are currently getting our certification from Acumatica.  The software will be available to all Acumatica customers and partners.

What’s the Difference in ProMRO vs. ProFBO?

The main difference is ProFBO has several FAA compliance tools such as the ability to have FAA approved vendors, parts, and print 8130s and other documents.  Both solutions allow you to attach documents just about anywhere in the system.   This comes in handy if you need to document pictures or notes on the condition of the customers’ equipment.

Another differentiation, which we will not cover in our webinar below, is that both solutions can add manufacturing to the mix if it’s needed. Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations should be considered if your business is a larger MRO.  I would be pleased to review your requirements and steer you in the right direction.
