Tim Palin :: Vice President Distribution Sales
Tim Palin has assisted hundreds of companies in the selection and implementation of accounting software and management information systems over the past eighteen years. He has also supported companies in the development and execution of financial models, custom databases, local area networks and office automation strategies. During his career, Tim has worked with many of the top software packages in the mid-market including Sage's MAS 90/MAS 200/MAS500, Microsoft Dynamics-AX, Great Plains, Solomon, Macola, Platinum and ACCPAC.
As a Managing Director in his current firm, Clients First Business Solutions, Tim is responsible for the sales and marketing activities in the California Office. Under his guidance, Clients First has achieved Board Level status with Sage Software for sales of the MAS 90/MAS 200/MAS500 product. Their commitment to customer satisfaction and close attention to detail during the sales process has allowed them to become recognized as a leader in the Northern California Accounting Software community. They currently focus efforts on working with Sage's MAS 90/MAS 200/MAS500 and Microsoft's Dynamics-AX. While they have provided software solutions to companies in many industries, they are focused on serving mid-market distribution and manufacturing companies. Additionally, because of his deep focus in working with Distribution companies, Tim is responsible for driving the direction of Clients First Distribution activities on a national basis.
Prior to forming Clients First, Tim worked in the Financial Information Management Group at Deloitte, Haskins and Sells for five years. While at Deloitte, Tim helped their Executive Office in New York evaluate accounting packages for the purpose of establishing national agreements with those companies. Additionally, he supervised the development of a lost damages financial model for use in multi-million dollar litigation. Tim also directed the execution of a national budgeting system for the Executive Office. The system was implemented in the practice offices at 125 locations throughout the United States.
