Dynamics AX Production/Inventory Consultant

We are currently seeking a Senior or Mid- Level Microsoft Dynamics AX Production/Inventory Consultant to work with CXO's in mid-tier and enterprise level organizations to analyze, design and implement Microsoft Dynamics AX (formerly Axapta). As a Microsoft National Account and Gold Certified Partner with 8 locations across the continental United States, we're constantly looking for new talent to join our highly motivated team of professionals. The Microsoft Dynamics AX Consultant will be responsible for the implementation of applications in the manufacturing and distribution verticals including:

  • Ability to write functional specifications to define AX enhancement requirements for reports and business processes/forms etc., to be handed off to development
  • Specific experience working within a structured implementation environment, using Sure Step desired
  • Working knowledge of industry specific best practices
  • Must be able to perform an analysis of the business requirements and business rules, then design and setup the Production and Trade and Logistics accordingly using best practices

Requirements:

  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States
  • 3+ years' experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX is required. AX 2009 and/or AX 2012 experience with the following: Inventory and Production. Experience in AR, AP, GL, Trade and Logistics a plus
  • Certification in AX 2012 preferred
  • 3-10 years’ experience in Production and Inventory is required
  • APICS certification preferred
  • Must have solid reputation and references with previous clients, contacts, partners, etc.
  • Must be able to manage time, prioritize and communicate commitments
  • Must have strong client and internal communication skills with experience working in highly collaborative teams
  • Must be able to produce specific examples of his or her work product (e.g. business requirements, design, output, and training plans, etc.)
  • Experience as an end user a big plus
  • Experience working directly in a production or inventory functional position a big plus

  • Flexibility to travel for some project work
