Knowledgesync Webinar

Thursday, September 1st, 2011

What if there was a software tool that worked with your MAS solution that could truly make your job easier, save time, and save money.  Would you take just 30 minutes out of your day to see what it’s all about?

The tool is Sage Knowledgesync and here are a few things it does…

  • Be alerted to issues right away; not hours, days, or weeks later, when it is already too late
  • Identify trends or problems across your entire enterprise
  • Be alerted to changes in critical information, such as pricing or credit terms, before it starts costing you money
  • Free up expensive personnel time currently required to run, deliver, and analyze reports

About our presenter, Debbie Hill

Debbie Hill is an accomplished Software Professional with over 8 years of support and pre-sales consulting expertise.  Ms. Hill’s expertise spans the ERP marketplace within a software channel with a specific focus on Accounting, Distribution, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and Business Intelligence.  She has mastered the ability to leverage her experience and transform that knowledge into solving business process challenges faced by many of the businesses and organizations she is called upon to assist.

Please join us for this complimentary presentation of Knowledgesync.

The Future of FRx

Friday, October 15th, 2010

Confused about the future of FRx?

Want to find out more about Sage MAS Intelligence (SMI)?

As a means of continuous improvement to the reporting technology and changes within Microsoft, we have some exciting news for you. Sage MAS Intelligence has been introduced into the MAS family as its standard financial reporting tool.  What does that mean for you?  It means that Sage will be replacing your existing FRx licenses with Sage MAS Intelligence (SMI).  Automatic Shipment of this software begins in October.

What is SMI and how will this impact reporting?

In the short term, you will have the ability to use both FRx and SMI. Your support for FRx will NOT change.

SMI is based on the familiar Microsoft Excel application. You will be able to create reports and analyze data as before but with some additional program capabilities.  Instead of access being limited to just General Ledger, you will have access to all modules and data.  You will be able to build your reports in Excel rather than creating the report in one program and then exporting to Excel.

Sage MAS Intelligence will be available for customers on MAS90/200 version 4.4, MAS500 version 7.3, and MAS90/200 Extended Enterprise Suite version 1.4.

Again… FRx support is not being abandoned.  Support will be available during the transition between FRx and SMI.

There is a great deal of information to be shared and questions to be answered.  We have asked Debbie Hill, a Solution Engineer at Sage, to assist us in presenting this information to you.  We will be hosting two webinars to review the changes and what they mean to you.  The first session will be a general overview of the Sage MAS Intelligence and how the licensing and support are going to be handled.  The second session will be a more in depth look at Sage MAS Intelligence.  We invite you to attend one or both of these sessions.

Clients First Increases Knowledge at Sage Insights

Tuesday, April 27th, 2010

We will be attending Sage Insights next month In Denver, Colorado.  Why do we think that you want to know this?  It is the annual Sage event held for all of their partners like us.  It is both a learning and networking experience that we know adds value to our practice and our clients.

Some of the benefits from attending are:

  • Finding out what is in the product roadmap – where are the products headed
  • Networking with other partners, vendors, and Sage staff and executives.
  • Attending learning sessions — over 400 sessions this year are scheduled
  • Joining in an open and candid Q&A session with key Sage executives
  • Attending the Sage Exceptional Customer Experience workshop where we explore how we can support our customers at a new level of excellence.

Attending Sage Insights is another in the many ways we at Clients First work hard to stay current in new technologies, on top of market trends and continue to be relevant and valuable to our clients.

By the way, next year’s Insights will be a first in that Sage customers as well as partners will attend.  It will be held in Washington DC in July.  We hope you can make it.  Please let us know if you have any questions or comments.

MAS 90/200/500 User Group Topics

Wednesday, March 24th, 2010

As you are no doubt aware, we hold regular User Group Meetings in our Pleasant Hill Office.  These are designed for our MAS 90/200 and MAS 500 clients — both newbies and old timers — to learn what’s new, learn tips and tricks and share their experiences with one another.

Attendees consistently give high marks for the experience and for the information they can take back to their organizations and put into practice.

We need your help, though. In the spirit of keeping the User Groups focused on YOUR needs, we ask that you take a minute to tell us what topics you would like to see in future meetings.

Is there a topic you need covered?  Perhaps a process that you need a little help or guidance with?  Let us know!

This is your chance to help craft the agendas for our meetings and make them even more relevant.

Please send your ideas to Mary Walsh, or call us at 888-222-8827.

Thanks and have a great day.
