Below is the just released April 2012 Roadmap for Sage MAS90, Sage MAS200, Sage MAS 200 SQL and the new name, Sage ERP 100.
Overview
By reading the presentation below, one can see the general direction of MAS90, MAS200. That is a model where Sage can build/contract solutions that work across multiple product lines rather than redundant solutions for each product such as Sage ERP X3, Sage Accpac, Sage MAS 500 etc.
They are doing this by building a common data interface language based on XML called SData. This allows Sage to build one integration component that can push and pull information between their disparate ERP solutions.
Sage CRM
There are also significant enhancements to the Sage CRM integration including:
- Multiple companies in Sage ERP 100 integrating with a single Sage CRM database
- Sage CRM Web Orders & Quotes – Now Sage CRM Users can enter full Quotes and Orders via the Sage CRM Browser based user interface
Sage Advisor
This will allow you to see that status of your maintenance plan, all available releases and product updates etc. You can actually download the updates and run utilities, however, installation of upgrades and updates is still designed to be performed by your Value Added Reseller (VAR)
New Features
There will also be a handful of new actual features in Sage MAS 200, Sage MAS 90 and Sage ERP 100 in the upcoming release 5.0. Among them include:
- Accounts Payable Invoice Number Expansion-Use longer invoice numbers from your vendors
- Inactivate Customers & Vendors – Prevent new entries to Customers and Vendors, yet retain open and closed transactions for processing and reporting
- View Cleared Checks in Vendor Maintenance-Now you can see a Vendor’s cleared checks right from Vendor Maintenance without searching through the bank rec module which historically deleted cleared checks after a bank reconciliation
- Redesign the Inventory Maintenance Screen - It now works more like Inventory Inquiry where you can see full Stock Status from the main Maintenance Tab
Technology Updates
- 64 Bit ODBC Driver for better performance and compatibility
- Crystal Reports Version 2011
- Microsoft SQL 2012 Support
Broad improvements to Credit Card Processing

- Split credit card payments-use more than one card to pay for an invoice by your customer
