Navision Tip. Use the built in calculator!

$See full size image$ Did you know that you can do math in any number field in Navision?
In any field that will take a number, such as quantity or price, you can enter a formula and Nav will calculate the answer for you.

This formula can use the operators +, -, *, and / for addition, subtraction, multiplication and division respectively, and can be as simple or as complex as you’d like.
Just type your formula into the number field and then tab or click to the next field, your formula will be replaced with the answer, ie 5+12 becomes 17.

Nav follows standard mathematical order of operations rules, meaning multiplication and division operations are performed before addition or subtraction ones.

What’s New in SAP Business One 8.81

SAP Just released this new document on version 8.81 which just went to Ramp Up (Sort of a public beta). There are many features to improve localization etc, but the major broad functional enhancements are:

More Recurring Transaction types
Preview a GL Posting effect before posting a document
Official support for the new Cockpit and Dashboards
Official support for the new ‘Integration Component’ which will allow apps such as the new free mobile SAP Business One for iPhone to work.
Some enhancements to the built in Projects functionality
The ability for 3rd party add-ins to use the new integrated Crystal Reports integration functionality
A new Request for PO/Quote function that allows you to send a PO request to multiple vendors and track their responses to choose the best priced source
Recurring activities in CRM such as recurring meetings.

What has changed with MAS90 and MAS200 throughout the past version updates

I found a well hidden section on the Sage website that outlines all of the enhancements that has occurred with every release going all the way back to version 3.50 (circa 1997)

I turned this section into a PDF document that you can take with you. It goes all the way up to the brand new Version 4.40 release that you will be receiving this week if you are current on maintenance.
